Cow’s Milk Protein Allergy is an allergic reaction in the body, set off by specific proteins found in cow's milk. It primarily affects infants under 1 year old, and is commonly outgrown with age. As many as 90% of cases are resolved by age 6. CMPA is shown to impact ~2-3% of infants. Cow's milk proteins can be found in both human breastmilk and standard infant formula.
